KeyBot · v2.4

App Connection

After Wi-Fi setup is complete, the app finds the device and makes a TCP connection to it. The app and device must be on the same Wi-Fi network.

  1. Tap “Scan for Device” on the app home screen The app automatically scans devices on the network. Tap KeyBot in the results list.
  2. Or enter the IP address manually You can also type the IP address shown on the OLED directly into the app's settings.
  3. Auto-sync after connecting Once connected, the app automatically loads the schedule data stored on the device. A “Connected” indicator appears at the top of the screen.

Even if you close and reopen the app, it automatically tries to reconnect to the last IP address it connected to.

If the keyboard's IP address changes (for example after a router reboot), the app searches the same Wi-Fi for the keyboard and reconnects automatically. The home screen shows “Can't reach the keyboard — searching the same Wi-Fi again...” meanwhile.
